hiremycare.org, Suite Business Services, LLC and their affiliated parties (hiremycare.org JobsBoard or “the Site) are committed to respecting the privacy of user information.  The following Privacy Policy describes our practices, use, and safeguarding of any personal information collected on the hiremycare.org website.

Acceptance of Privacy Policy
By submitting data on the site, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information according to this Privacy Policy.

Types of Personal Information Collected
hiremycare.org JobsBoard is designed to match individuals seeking care providers (“Care Seekers”) with those that provide hourly care services (“Caregivers”) or other care resources such as products and contracted services (“Vendors” or “Product/Service Providers” or “Businesses”). We collect personally identifying information which includes any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate you. Personal Information submitted voluntarily into the electronic forms by the user, information you provide by telephone or email such as customer support communications, information we receive automatically when you visit our website, and other information from third parties such as verification services, payment processing services, and other online and offline services. 

This may include but is not limited to information specific to the services requested or provided such the full name, address, phone number, and email address of the user. If you become a registered subscriber, such as a “Care Seeker” or a “Vendor”, we may collect your credit card information and billing address in order to grant you access to the database that requires payment or purchase advertising space on the site. If you register as a “Caregiver,” we may collect your gender, resume, age range, and other relevant information needed to match your qualifications to a job posting.
 
Providing your personal information is voluntary, and you may choose not to provide this information by choosing to not use our Site, services, or features.

Use of Personal Information
We use the information we obtain to develop and deliver our services and to fulfill any legal requirements that are applicable to the nature of our services.

hiremycare.org JobsBoard may use email addresses to share information pertaining to memberships and enrollment into using the site.  hiremycare.org JobsBoard may also send you promotional emails, such as monthly newsletters, new service offerings, special discounts and other offers. hiremycare.org JobsBoard will also use your personal information for administrative purposes, such as addressing account and billing issues, troubleshooting site issues, investigating abuse on the site, responding to user inquiries and enforcing and applying our Terms and Conditions.  Other users may also be able to find your profile on the site by using search parameters that coincide with the personal information you have provided during registration.

During registration, users will be asked to create a profile.  Once the profile has been created, depending on the type of profile:

  • Care Seekers will be able to:
    • Post jobs
    • Search for potential Caregivers
    • Search for Vendors (product/service providers)
    • Post reviews about Caregivers and Vendors
  • Caregivers will be able to:
    • Search for job postings
    • Have their profiles be searched and viewed by potential Care Seekers
    • Post reviews about Care Seekers
  • Vendors will be able to:
    • Advertise their company’s products/services
    • Be listed in the Vendor directory

hiremycare.org JobsBoard  will not share personally identifying information or contact information of Care Seekers and Caregivers with “Vendor” users of the site. Only Care Seekers are able to contact Caregivers and/or Vendors.

Reviews and other public content will be available to both users and non-users of the site.  This information may also be used for promotional purposes.  Any information a user posts for public consumption becomes public information once posted and may continue to be viewed after the user’s account has been deleted.  This public content may appear on other websites or web searches, and therefore can be read, collected and used by others. Note that if users include personal information about themselves in their public content, it can be used and viewed by others. Please remember that users are not permitted to disclose any personal information about another user or anyone else in their public content.

hiremycare.org JobsBoard allows users to exchange messages with one another.  Messages exchanged between users will be stored in hiremycare.org JobsBoard‘s database even after they’ve been deleted from the users’ profiles.

hiremycare.org JobsBoard will require that some users provide their credit card and billing information or PayPal account information in order to use the site.  Users will also have the option of storing this information as part of their account information. Credit card transactions are processed through industry standard security, which only uses your information for that purpose.

If users contact hiremycare.org JobsBoard to provide feedback about the site, submit a complaint or ask questions about the site, the communication may be stored.  This includes any personal information, such as contact information.

Messaging
The messaging system is designed to allow users to correspond first before having to release contact information to make further arrangements to meet and interview. If, at any point, you should decide to use hiremycare.org JobsBoard  in-site messaging system to communicate with another user, any personally identifying information you may voluntarily disclose with those communications is done so at your own risk.

Cookies and Other Technical Information
Our web servers also use “cookies”. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer. We use cookies to administer and customize our service and to better understand, on an aggregate basis, how users interact with our Site. If you choose to disable cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of the Site. For example, we require that you have cookies enabled to enroll in our service or to log in to your account. We do not store any personally identifiable information in cookies.

As is true of most web sites, when you visit our Site we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. We gather technical information about your computer such as your IP address, operating system, browser type, pages visited, manner of connection to the Internet, and referring URL. We use this information in aggregate to analyze trends and administer our service. The information that we collect through log files is not tied to personally identifiable information.

Third Party Information Sharing
HireMyCare.org is a privately held company wholly owned by parent company; Laurel Jensen and Von LLC (Herein referred to as LJV) controls a family of “sister” companies and also utilizes a shared services model for corporate Information Technology, Human Resources and Accounting under contract with the Opportunity Management Group LLC. HireMyCare.org will not share personally identifiable information of any site user beyond its parent, sister, and shared services model companies under contract.

We do not share your personal information with other third parties except as permitted or required by law or as described within this privacy policy and including the following: In order to provide our services, we may share any of the information we gather about you with agents and service providers contracted to perform functions on our behalf, such as to send email, process background checks, host videos (if you decide to post one to your account), or process credit card payments.

If there is a change of control in hiremycare.org JobsBoard  business (whether by merger, sale, or otherwise), its customer information could be sold as part of that transaction and your personally identifying information potentially could be used by the purchaser. However, if that business materially changes this statement or the information-handling practices as described in this statement, you will be notified by email and/or through a notice posted on our Site, and you will have a choice as to whether your existing information is used in a new manner.

California AB370 — Do Not Track signals – disclosure notice:
Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code sections 22575-22579;
i) “online tracking” is defined as: “the practice of collecting personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different Web sites and online services.”
ii) HireMyCare.org does not process Do Not Track signals from web browsers at this time.
iii) However, HireMyCare.org does not engage in any of the activities for which Do Not Track signals were created/intended. For example, we do not allow third parties to conduct online tracking on our Web site, nor do we share or sell user information with other parties (except as part of delivering our service to users, as defined above).

Your Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If your personally identifiable information changes, you may update this information by logging into your account and accessing your membership information. If you no longer wish to participate in our service you may contact hiremycare.org JobsBoard  at [email protected]  and request that your account be closed.

California SB568 — The Minor “Eraser” Law disclosure notice:
i) HireMyCare.org does not share personally identifiable information of any site user with other users or any outside entities (except as part of delivering our service to users, as defined above).
ii) HireMyCare.org does not allow prohibited advertising to minor age site users via our site.
iii) HireMyCare.org site users under age 18 living in California may request in writing to have all site activity associated with their account removed. Requests must be sent via e-mail to: [email protected] using subject line “Minor Eraser request” and must include the Account user name in the body of the e-mail.

Security of Personal Information
Hiremycare.org JobsBoard employs firewalls and system monitoring to protect against unauthorized access of our systems.

Please remember that you also play a valuable role in data security. You should never share your password with anyone. If you feel your password has been compromised, you should change it immediately by logging into your account and clicking “Change Password” from your dashboard screen.

Privacy Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may change, from time to time, due to changes on our Site, legal developments, business factors and ever-changing technology. Notifications to changes of our Privacy Policy will be posted on our Site, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.
